Well, I don't have much new material from this last week, so I thought I would share some from this spring. First we have one of our personal favorites; this is our niece digging into her first* birthday cake. She did a thorough job and we were all very proud of her.

We visited Colonial Williamsburg. Virginia really is just a very beautiful place with a lot of interesting old stuff to see. I have decided I would not mind settling down in Williamsburg. They have a shave ice place that feels like Ted Drew's from St. Louis but tastes like Matsumoto's from Haleiwa, Oahu.

We shot some singles and couple shots of our good friends who took us down. They are both from the area and they and their families are the reason we have so fallen in love with the place.

Earlier in the spring we shot the Washington DC cherry blossoms. The crowds were unbeleivable, but the views were worth it. Seeing the cherry blossoms in DC is something every American should do at least once in their life. This is looking across the Tidal Basin at the Jefferson Memorial. The second one is my favorite grove of Cherry trees that lies between the Washington and WWII memorials.

And due to expressed interest in Washington's dentures, here is the official picture from the Mount Vernon Website. The man held these LEAD dentures in his mouth the last years of his life. The teeth are made from both human and animal teeth.... its gross... and amazing.... can you even imagine?

The dentures are more horrible than I even imagined. Thank you so much for finding a picture for me!

Seriously, I think I might go gag now.

But as always, your OWN photos are amazing and belong in a magazine spread.

Your pics are gorgeous. The dentures are disgusting. Poor poor George.
