We have been in Japan or just over a week. It has been great. We have seen so much and had the chance to see friends and family that we haven't seen in years. Plus, we have eaten all kinds of amazingly tasty dishes and deserts. may I just say, Texans may match the heat and humidity of Japan, but they sure don't rough it like the do here. Hardly anyone has or uses AC in their apartments or homes. We have been sticky from the moment we landed. Ah~ Japan.

We reached Osaka late last night (luckily made the last local train for the night) and today did 5 family portrait shoots. The forecast was calling for severe thunderstorms by mid-morning but we had an amazing (albeit amazingly hot and humid) day of cloudy sunshine. Perfect for shooting outside. We are really grateful for all of the families that put their trust in us today and we are confident we won't disappoint them. They were all such great models! I think we took just over 1,600 pictures in just over 6 hours.

We do not have sufficient means to process any of our thousands of pictures while here so a picture post will have to wait until we get back. Let me tease you with the thought that we have seen the busiest of streets and the tallest of buildings and we have also seen some of the most remote areas left in Japan. I can't wait to show you all.

A heartfelt Thank You to all of you made this trip possible. It has meant the world to us, especially my wife and her family.

I can't wait to see the photos! Sounds like an amazing time.

Taylor has a trip to DC at the end of August. You can show him the ENTIRE slide show then. :)
